WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A SESSION?​
Based on your preference, we offer various ways to experience our ice bath sessions. An audio-guided 11-minute session where you’ll be guided by a soothing and clear voice by one of our expert breathwork teachers to prepare yourself to dip in on your own after the audio session has ended. A private breathwork expert that guides you in a more therapeutic way to release trauma and overcome anything conscious and unconscious.

HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?​
We offer an audio-guided 11-minute breathwork exercise to start your session, followed by a 3-minute plunge in the ice bath on your own. Our treatments are bookable from the early morning for the early riser, during the lunch break for a midday energy boost, or for an evening of tranquillity and peacefulness before finishing the day.

How should I prepare for a session?
  • If it's your first Ice Bath with us, kindly complete this Health Intake form before your appointment.
  • We recommend refraining from alcohol for 24 hours prior to your session.
  • Please bring your swimwear for your ice bath session.
  • Avoid caffeinated drinks or heavy meals right before your session.
  • Make sure to shower and rinse your body before your session.

Are there any contraindications or people who shouldn’t do a session?While Ice Baths are generally safe for most healthy individuals, they may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions, such as cardiovascular disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, Raynaud’s disease, cold hypersensitivity, pregnancy, or respiratory issues. Individuals on specific medications should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in cold exposure therapy.
How many Ice Bath sessions are ideal for optimal benefits?Each individual responds to cryotherapy differently, and outcomes can vary based on personal health goals and physiology. As a general guideline, we recommend the following:
  • Stress Relief & Nervous System Reset: 1–3 sessions per week may support resilience, mood balance, and improved stress response.
  • Athletic Recovery: 2–4 sessions weekly can reduce inflammation, enhance circulation, and speed up muscle repair.
  • Mental Clarity & Focus: Cold exposure stimulates alertness and clarity, incorporating 2–3 sessions into your weekly routine can elevate cognitive performance.
  • Immune Support & Resilience: Regular sessions (2–3 per week) may help strengthen the immune response over time.

Can I combine Ice Baths with other treatments at Renessence?Absolutely! An Audio Guided Ice Bath is the ideal element for a revitalizing journey. This treatment pairs seamlessly with an Infrared Sauna Session and/or Oxygen Hydroxy sessions to amplify the benefits of cellular oxygenation, inflammation reduction, and overall vitality *Please note: - Due to health and safety reasons, undergoing two cold exposure therapies, such as Ice Baths + Cryotherapy, is not part of our treatment protocol at Renessence.- For optimal results, we recommend spacing cold and heat-based treatments (10- 15 min) to allow your body to fully integrate each experience.
